Karajoz EST. 1982 is led by Derek Townsend, the coffee artisan behind the legendary DKD cafe, and the inventor of the flat white. 1997 was a busy year. Derek spent 4 months and 2 tonnes of beans and a touch of tennis elbow making a gazillion cups of coffee. 

Our 'Coffee With A Conscience' logo represents the sustainable morals of our brand. Karajoz is passionately committed to ensuring our impact on the environment is minimal, and we are leading the way of change here in New Zealand.
